As a non-union actor who is currently training to work in feature films, it's a true inspiration to see another independent actor, such as Tom Vera get the lead role in a film with proven Hollywood actors in the cast.

Nacro Sub goes to show that the independent filmmaker community can get noticeable success without following the exact Hollywood formula for production and distribution.

The perseverance and fortitude to produce a film that competes with big budget Hollywood films, while being in a pandemic, is something that should be noted by all. If you have a good script and creativity, a huge budget is not required to produce and independently distribute a quality project.

Myself and my fellow non-union actors are: reading scripts, training with coaches via Zoom, seeking agents and management because just like Mr. Tom Vera, when the right opportunity presents itself, we will ensure that we are ready to perform.

Entertainment Business can be a confusing industry to navigate. . .

One thing that has been made clear is that independent production companies can take a chance on a new actor, and still win at the box office!

Productions like this have definitely motivated many fellow actors to get more serious about their craft.

It’s obvious that the leadership team at Deepwater Productions are a group of very creative and open-minded people. They have been intelligent to bring in top distribution talent, Mr. Marc Bovee to get Narco Sub to more big screens.

In 2021 any cinema box office sales are considered impressive, let alone grossing more than Hollywood titles, which is what Narco Sub has done. .
